Program Coordinator MSc in Management

The challenge

 

The Master of Science in Management program is offered in two different variants; the part-time version is for Dutch speaking professionals who take classes on Fridays and Saturdays in Breukelen. The full-time variant is a fully English-taught program offered in the two campuses of Nyenrode: Breukelen and Amsterdam.

 

As a Program Coordinator you carry out various organizational and administrative tasks, both independently and as part of a team. The tasks include communication to and from current students, course coordination with faculty, process management of grades, canvas management and other systems and administratively related tasks. The role will be based in Breukelen, but at times you may be asked to help with events and other tasks at our Amsterdam campus.

You will be part of MScM team which includes program coordinators and program managers and will work closely with other program teams within the Management Degree Programs cluster.

 

What will you do?

  • You are responsible for keeping student files, grade records and student records up to date in the student administration system (Osiris)
  • You will be supporting our program managers and faculty with specific courses for both the FT and PTMScM. Tasks include monitoring deadlines, publishing courses outlines, entering exams and grades (we use Cirrus), communication with students on upcoming exams, evaluations and other course related tasks.
  • You will be supporting specific tasks related to exams of the program, including conducting review sessions and supporting our proctors with final exams.
  • You will ensure that our internal course processes are updated and reviewed annually
  • You will be working in a student-facing role, answering questions both in-person, on the phone and via email. You will coordinate student communication with our other program coordinators.
  • You will support the MScM team by attending the beginning of classes to ensure lecturers and students are set-up. This also includes occasional (once a month approx. Friday evening work until 19:00)
  • Our program coordinators also support occasional weekend events for prospective students such as open days and experience weekends.

Who are you?

 

The right candidate will have the following qualities:

  • You have obtained a bachelor’s degree.
  • You have 2-3 years of experience in an administrative position.
  • You are hands-on, proactive, flexible and with a high attention to detail.
  • You are service-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have a good command of English and have a conversational level of Dutch.
  • You have experience with MS Office.
  • You feel comfortable using various applications, websites (SharePoint), student administration systems (we use Osiris, Cirrus and Canvas), etc.

  • A gross salary of maximum €3.636,- depending on work experience, in case of full-time employment (Scale 7).
  • Fixed 5,1 % end of year bonus.
  • 30 days off (with the option of five more)
  • € 850 to be spent with Coolblue (online shop) to facilitate a home office.
  • Reimbursements for internet, gym, working from home, travel allowance, etc.
  • The pension scheme is through ABP.
